Malcolm Jones is a former professional Graphic Designer and a 2014 BA (Hons) Fine Art Graduate from the North Wales School of Art at Glyndwr University in Wrexham. 

 

Although able to paint various styles and subject matter his passion has always revolved around landscapes and the majority of his work reflects this.  He is inspired by the dramatic scenery of North Wales, a recognised area of outstanding natural beauty.

 

Malcolm is active in exhibiting his work and is always interested in opportunities to display in new venues. He has exhibited several times at the North Wales Open Art Exhibition and also has exhibited at the the Royal Cambrian Academy Open Art Exhibition in Conwy.  He has had well received solo exhibitions in Wrexham and three separate occasions in Oswestry.  Some of his works are in private collections.

Malcolm creates assemblage sculptures using deconstructed computer parts and various figures creating surreal pieces of fantasy.

 

Malcolm also has experience judging works for an Open Art exhibition.
